This page is a working draft describing data handling for the Phase 1 static prototype. It has not been reviewed by an attorney.
Basic Website Data
Like most websites, basic technical data — such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited — may be logged automatically by standard web server or hosting infrastructure. This Phase 1 prototype does not use this data for tracking, profiling, advertising, or marketing.
Order Request Data
MitoCore's direct Order Request page (a private page, not linked from site navigation) collects the information you supply when submitting a request: your name, email, phone number, shipping address, any optional notes, the products and quantities selected, and your payment-method preference. A validated order request is stored as a private internal operational record, separate from public website content, and is used to send an internal order notification, send you an acknowledgement email, and support manual verification of availability and order follow-up. This record does not include your IP address, anti-spam verification data, or the raw contents of your shopping-cart session — only the validated order details described above. The order-request form does not collect payment card numbers, bank details, or account credentials; it records only a payment-method preference, and any payment instructions are sent separately after availability is confirmed.
Email Subscription Data
The homepage includes a “Subscribe to Research Updates” field. In this Phase 1 prototype, that field is a non-functional placeholder — no email address is collected, stored, or transmitted. When a live subscription feature is enabled in a later phase, this section will describe what is collected, how it is used, and how to unsubscribe.
Future Account & Community Data
MitoCore plans a future phase with optional accounts and community experience reporting, referenced elsewhere on this site (for example, “Share Your Experience”). No account or customer-profile system exists yet, and no account/profile data is collected in this Phase 1 prototype. This is separate from the direct Order Request flow described above, which does collect and store contact and order information you submit, but does not create a user account or profile. When an account system is introduced, account data will be covered by an updated privacy policy with clear consent and privacy review before launch.
Future Questionnaire & Anecdotal Report Data
A future phase may allow users to voluntarily submit anecdotal experience reports — such as reported dosing patterns, duration, perceived benefits, or side effects — through a questionnaire. No such questionnaire is active in this Phase 1 prototype, and no anecdotal report data is collected. When enabled, submissions will be described here, and public pages will show only moderated, anonymized, or aggregated summaries, not raw individual submissions.
How We Would Use Data
Information submitted through the direct Order Request flow (see “Order Request Data” above) is used only for the purposes described there: verifying availability, order-related communication, and internal order follow-up. Beyond that flow, this prototype does not otherwise collect personal data, so none is currently used for any other purpose. When additional data collection features such as email subscriptions or community reporting are enabled, this section will describe exactly how each new data type is used, and data will not be used for purposes beyond what is disclosed here.
How We Would Store Data
Order-request information (see “Order Request Data” above) is stored today as a private internal operational record, kept separate from public website content and not accessible through any public page, search, or sitemap. Beyond the order-request flow, this prototype does not otherwise store personal data. When additional storage begins for future features such as accounts or community reporting, MitoCore intends to use access-controlled infrastructure and to retain data only as long as needed for the disclosed purpose, and specific storage and security details for those future features will be documented here before they go live.
User Deletion Requests
If you have submitted a direct Order Request, you may request deletion or correction of that information by contacting MitoCore through the Contact page; requests are currently handled manually, as no automated self-service deletion tool exists yet. Beyond the order-request flow, this prototype does not otherwise collect or store personal data, so there is nothing else to delete. Once account, subscription, or community features are enabled in a future phase, this section will describe how to request deletion of that additional data.
Cookies & Analytics
This site uses your browser's local storage only to remember that you have acknowledged the educational-use disclaimer. No cookies, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or analytics tools are active in this Phase 1 prototype. If analytics tools are added in a future phase, they will be disclosed here before being enabled.
Contact Method
Questions about this privacy policy can be sent through the Contact page. A dedicated privacy-specific contact method has not yet been established for this Phase 1 prototype.
Third-Party Links
Study and source links on this site point to external research, regulatory, and publisher websites. MitoCore Biosciences is not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites.
Draft content — this policy has been updated to factually describe the live direct Order Request data flow; other data-collection practices described here remain forward-looking placeholders, and review by a licensed attorney is recommended before public launch.
